| The idea to produce high
quality low voltage lighting fixtures from Die Cast Brass
first came to the founders at the end of the 20th century.
The limited variety and the extremely high prices of the existing
products at the time created a large unsatisfied market. The
alternative products are made of die cast aluminum or brass
sheet metal. While the aluminum products are nicely designed
the average fixture has to be replaced every 6-18 months (in
most places) due to corrosion. The Brass sheet metal
on the other hand would most probably last longer but the
designs are very limited due to the nature of the material.
After a short market research, we discovered that there
is a great demand for low voltage high quality lighting fixtures
of high quality that are reasonably priced. The obvious line
to begin with was landscape lighting. The ordinary landscape
lighting fixture is installed outside, exposed to the elements,
and in the ground. It made sense to manufacture fixtures for
these conditions that are made of slow corroding metal and
that is strong enough to last in a place where human traffic
and wild life interaction is inevitable. Brass is the solution.
For over 4 years we invested heavily on Research & Development
and we designed over 30 items to start the line. Eighteen
months later we expanded our line to 50 items and 8 new items
are expected soon. We firmly believe that variety is the key
for success. We gave a special attention to the little details;
such as using a convex lens for drainage and making sure that
the socket is placed on a 1” base just incase water
had penetrated the fixture. We made sure that where necessary
we used double O-ring as oppose to the single O-ring in similar
products. We are constantly working on improving our fixtures
and developing new items to expand our line. Check the news
page for new products.
